Preview: WWE NXT (9/3/24) - No Mercy Fallout

This week’s episode of WWE NXT will be the fallout from No Mercy. The event was action-packed but now the journey continues.

This will be the last month of NXT being on the USA Network before their move to the CW. Only three matches have been confirmed for the show but it can be expected that there will be more added on the night.

Here is all you need to know ahead of the September 3 NXT.

WWE NXT Full Match Card:

  • NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender Triple Threat Match: Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) vs. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger
  • Singles Match: Trick Williams vs. Pete Dunne
  • Singles Match: Oro Mensah vs. Lexis King

NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender Match

The September 3 edition of NXT will feature a triple threat match for the NXT Tag Team Championship’s number one contender. The teams involved will be GallusMark Coffey and Wolfgang, The Rascalz‘s Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel, and Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.

The three teams will all bring a high level of chaos, as they try to punch their ticket to challenging the newly-minted Nathan Frazer and Axiom. This pair are now two-time NXT Tag Team Champions, and the six men vying for a shot at the gold will need to come right.

Trick Williams and Pete Dunne Clash

Trick Williams and Pete Dunne have been feuding for several weeks now. On the September 3 NXT, the pair will finally meet in a match.

This comes after Dunne interfered with Williams’ refereeing duties at No Mercy. This could be a definitive way to end this feud, or it could actually just be the beginning.
