Natalya Re-Signs with WWE Amid Speculation

According to PWInsider, Natalya has finally re-signed with WWE, ending speculation on a potential move away.

Natalya has officially re-signed with WWE after months of rumors and speculation. Discussions about her contract had been delayed since May, with PWInsider reporting last month that many within the company were surprised WWE allowed her deal to come so close to expiring.

Negotiations had not yet started as of early June, but now the situation appears to be finally resolved.

The Canadian veteran, a long-standing member of the WWE roster since 2007, brings a wealth of experience and talent to the company. Not only is she a skilled in-ring performer and valued veteran, but she also serves as an ambassador for WWE.

She and her husband, TJ Wilson (aka Tyson Kidd), run the Dungeon 2.0 training facility. His position as one of WWE’s top producers was also a point of concern during Natalya’s contract negotiations. Her re-signing alleviates worries about Wilson’s potential departure alongside her.

With a career spanning 24 years, Natalya had her first match back in 2000 and is the only female graduate of the famed Hart Dungeon. The Calgary native is a one-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, a one-time Divas Champion, a one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and holds six different records in the Guinness Book of World Records.

She has also appeared on shows such as Total Divas, Total Bellas, and Tough Enough.

While exact details of her new contract have not been disclosed, it is expected that Natalya received a comfortable package, especially considering recent big deals for stars like Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor.
