Preview: AEW Dynamite (11/29/23)

AEW Dynamite Jay White vs. Swerve Strickland match graphic

This week’s AEW Dynamite promises to be a special one! Bryan Danielson will be sitting in as a special guest commentator. Christian Cage will respond to Adam Copeland’s challenge. That’s before we even get to the wonderful in-ring action set to take place. Rush and Mark Briscoe will go toe-to-toe in what will be a hard-hitting collision. Jay Lethal continues to face stiff competition in the Continental Classic as he battles Jon Moxley. Our focus will be on a match that could’ve easily been a justifiable final for this tournament as Jay White battles Swerve Strickland.

Clash of AEW Top Two Rising Stars

This is a match many think should be reserved for a feud over the AEW World Championship. We’re getting treated to this on Wednesday, and it’s the hardest match to predict the outcome of this evening. Swerve Strickland has all of the momentum in the world behind him after a brutal Texas Death Match with “Hangman” Adam Page, where he emerged victorious.

Comparatively, Jay White is in recovery mode after losing to MJF in a controversial match for the AEW World Championship. Both men are coming off of wins over Rush and Jay Lethal, respectfully. However, that does not negate the fact both men need to win in this match.

Regardless of who wins, this will be a fantastic match-up, but I’m going to pick Swerve. Strickland feels like his time is now and needs to keep looking dominant. White can recover with other strong showings in the Continental Classic.
