November will end in a big way for National Wrestling Alliance fans as this week’s edition of NWA Powerrr is packed to the brim with exciting contests. The NWA Nation will witness a title match, a return, and a couple of debuts on the latest installment of everyone’s favorite Tuesday night wrestling show. So, what’re we waiting for?

Let’s get right into it. Here’s a preview of the newest episode of NWA Powerrr. Let’s run it down.

Full NWA Powerrr Match Card:

  • Thom Latimer & Kamille vs. Bryan Idol & Natalia Markova
  • Tim Storm & Jax Dane vs. Trevor Murdoch & Paul Burchill
  • NWA World Television Championship Match: Mims (c) vs. Carson Drake
  • Tiffany Nieves vs. Ruthie Jay

One of Seven

For the first time since winning the vacated NWA World Television Championships, “Big Strong” Mims defends his title against a debuting up-and-comer in the form of Carson Drake. Mims realized his dream when he finally overcame the odds and defeated one of the most talented stars in the industry, ‘The Outlandish’ Zicky Dice, on his way to securing his first taste of gold in the legacy promotion.

After that monumental triumph, Mims set his sights on another goal, completing the ‘Lucky 7′ and possibly challenging the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. That said, he has to go through Drake first who has the chance of a lifetime to derail Mims’ reign before it even gets started. Will Carson Drake pull off the ultimate upset? Or will Mims notch his first successful title defense?

A Storm’s Coming

One of the most talented industry veterans makes his NWA Powerr debut as Paul Burchill teams up with Trevor Murdoch to take on Jax Dane and a returning Tim Storm. This match has a lot going for it. Not only is this Burchill’s in-ring debut in the National Wrestling Alliance, but it’s also Storm’s first match back since NWA 75 and after announcing his full-time return as a competitor.

The New Spectaculars 1.0 might be kicking themselves after getting mauled by the Southern Six on last week’s NWA Powerrr. Nevertheless, Rush and Rolando Freeman’s loss is Murdoch’s gain as the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion looks to get back on the right track after losing an NWA World Tag Team Championship Match at NWA Samhain.

For Storm, it’s a chance to get back into the thick of things with his best friend alongside him. As for Burchill, he gets another at the national spotlight. Whichever way this goes, one thing’s for certain, it’s going to be one amazing tag team clash. All this and more on this Tuesday’s NWA Powerrr!
