The House Welcomes New Challengers

On the last episode of AEW Dynamite, the House of Black defeated the team of Best Friends and Bandido in an “Open House” match to successfully defend their AEW World Trios Championships. This week, they look to keep the ball rolling as they take on Blake ChristianAR Fox, and a debuting Metalik. The trio of Malakai BlackBrody King, and Buddy Matthews, along with Julia Hart, has been undefeated since winning the titles back in March.

Over their last seven matches, all have been wins, with four of those successful championship defenses. The House of Black is hellbent on destruction. And the trio of Christian, Fox, and Metalik will have their hands full come Wednesday. That said, it’s also a chance of a lifetime for the challengers to win gold and claim the top spot in the division.

Will these three up-and-comers pull off a major upset? Or will the House of Black continue their reign of terror?

More Gold for the BCC?

Ahead of the ultimate showdown between The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club. The duo from the BCC Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta look to pick up momentum and gold along the way as they challenge the Lucha Brothers for the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Two weeks ago, Claudio and one-half of the tag champions Rey Fenix had quite the “Double Jeopardy” match.

In this bout, the victor will have the opportunity to challenge for the title that their opponent held. After a stunner of a contest, Claudio secured the opportunity for him and a fellow BCC member, The BCC has been an absolute warpath in the past couple of weeks, and they wouldn’t mind extra hardware for their efforts.

That said, Fenix and his brother Penta El Zero Miedo will not take anything laying down. The Lucha Brothers have been one of the most dominant tag teams of the last decade, winning championship after championship. Amid their first run as ROH World Tag Team Champions. There’s simply no way they’ll relinquish control over the titles that easily. It’ll be the Lucha Brothers vs. Castagnoli and Yuta; ROH World Tag Team Championship match on this AEW Dynamite card!

Who’s walking away with the gold? Find out this Wednesday night on the special Go-Home edition of AEW Dynamite live on TBS!
