Preview: AEW Dynamite Tonight (3/8/23) – Fallout from Revolution

There really is no rest for the wicked. Only three days removed from the monumental Revolution pay-per-view, All Elite Wrestling is back at it again as it presents another edition of AEW Dynamite live from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. On this night we deal with the aftermath of the big event, with two new champions being crowned, and a whole lot of animosity still left to be resolved. This Wednesday, we will see the brand new TNT Champion defend his title against the winner of the “Face of the Revolution” Ladder Match. Plus, a lot more! Without further ado, let’s get into it. Wardlow vs. Powerhouse Hobbs for the TNT Championship

This past Sunday night, “Mr. Mayhem” Wardlow finally reclaimed the TNT Championship after going through hell and back and defeating former running mate Samoa Joe. The bout was an absolute slugfest, with no man letting up throughout. Unfortunately for Joe, Wardlow was too much to handle, leading to the “War Dog” claiming his second reign as the TNT Champion.

That said, Wardlow doesn’t have the luxury to celebrate for long as a new challenger is already waiting in the wings. After winning the “Face of the Revolution” Ladder Match on last week’s Dynamite, Powerhouse Hobbs is already calling his shot only 72 hours after Wardlow’s momentous victory. Wardlow is one of the most dominant men ever to step foot inside an AEWring.

However, he’s not stepping inside the squared circle with just any competitor, he will defend his title against one of the most destructive and up-and-coming forces the industry has today. Will Wardlow come out of this with the TNT Title still around his waist? Or will Powerhouse Hobbs ride a chapter in the “Book of Hobbs” that details the beginning of his reign?
