We have seven great matches to look forward to on this evening’s AEW Dark Elevation. The Kingdom looks to build momentum as they face EJ Sparks and Aguila Aguirre. Speaking of momentum, few wrestlers have as much as ROH Women’s World Champion Athena. Danielle Kamela will look to steal it from her and earn a shot at the belt. Our focus will be on the clash between Konosuke Takeshita takes on “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson.

Konosuke Takeshita vs. Lee Johnson
Konosuke Takeshita looks to build momentum as he nears the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. However, he’ll face a formidable opponent in “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson. Since his return, Johnson has lost all momentum, his last match being as the Full Gear Zero Hour in a ten-man tag team match. Unfortunately, he and the rest of The Factory would be on the losing end of that match, falling short against Orange Cassidy, Rocky Romero, Danhausen, Trent Beretta, and Chuck Taylor.
On the other hand, Takeshita seems to be on the edge of truly breaking out as a top star in AEW and being seen as a legitimate main-event talent. His only losses since returning to AEW have been to the likes of Bryan Danielson, former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, and current AEW World Champion MJF. Johnson has all the skills to pull off the upset, but Takeshita is on another level right now and will pick up the win.
