Monday Night Raw has it’s first post-30 year episode this week from the Heritage Bank Center, formerly the US Bank Arena. January 11, 1992 was the first episode of Monday Night Raw and here we are on January 16, 30 years later. Though WWE’s celebration of the milestone is still a week away. The Heritage Bank Center has hosted events for not just WWE, but also WCW in the form of Souled Out 2000, TNA for Lockdown 2011 and AEW held a special live Tuesday edition of Dynamite just last October. It was a special “all title defenses” edition. Though it was sadly headlined by the Jon Moxley vs Hangman Page match where Page suffered his concussion. With that out of the way, let’s take look at the card for WWE Raw tonight.

Back To Business, Hurt Business
It was announced last week that Bobby Lashley’s firing turned suspension was lifted thanks to MVP persuading Adam Pearce. While The All Mighty was very grateful, he seemed to refute MVP’s offer of a third attempt at the Hurt Business. Though Lashley seemed less hostile towards the idea than in previous occasions. For now, let’s see what Bobby Lashley’s return brings to the table as the Royal Rumble looms. Will something make him change his mind? Where does Omos fit into all this? Has his relationship with MVP simply been dropped?
When Is The Title Match?
The Judgment Day won a Tag Team Turmoil match last week to secure an opportunity for the Raw Tag Team titles, as apparently plans are being set in motion to separate the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions. In the midst of this victory, we also have Rhea Ripley simply dominating whatever competition is set in front of her while Dominik has been……….. “Coping” with the hard times he had to face for that long…..day in prison. Either way, The Judgment Day act has really been hitting a creative groove on Raw. The question is when this Raw Tag Team title match going to take place. Will it be at the Royal Rumble? On next week’s Raw anniversary?
Uncle Howdy Came To Say Howdy
Unannounced, Uncle Howdy appeared on Raw last week as Alexa Bliss explained her actions as of late, claiming she was more in control than ever and that she would instil fear in Bianca Belair to take her title. Not really explaining that DQ, but sure. It seems Alexa may not exactly be under the same evil she was some time ago under The Fiend. But instead, simply being free of any inhibition and spurred on by the mysterious Uncle Howdy.
All that and more on WWE Raw tonight as we draw closer to both the Royal Rumble and next week’s Raw XXX Anniversary special. What legends will be announced? What matches? Who else adds their name for the Royal Rumble? Will we see more Bloodline on Raw as we’ve seen the past few weeks? All that and more, tonight.
