The Elite Return Teased on Dynamite

The Elite AEW

For the first time since All Out we have seen a hint at The Elite (The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega) returning to AEW. A video package aired on Dynamite after the first match teasing the return of the trio of Executive Vice Presidents of AEW.

The Return of The Elite Teased on AEW Dynamite

Although never confirmed on a broadcast of AEW, the trio was suspended following a reported brawl that took place after the media scrum of All Out 2022. During the media scrum, CM Punk made comments about the EVPs, Hangman Adam Page, and Colt Cabana. A brawl reportedly took place following the scrum, and we have not seen or heard from Punk or the EVPs since.

The Young Bucks and Omega became the inaugural AEW World Trios Champions at All Out. They were stripped of the titles on the Dynamite following All Out and Death Triangle (Penta El 0 Mideo, Rey Fenix, and PAC) became the champions. Punk was stripped of the AEW World Championship which was won by Jon Moxley.

The video package showed key moments featuring the trio from AEW’s history. It ended with the E From the AEW logo being erased. No concrete date for their return has been given as of this writing.
