Mascara Dorada vs. Serpentico
Serpentico hopes to pick up his first win in three months as he faces the debuting Mascara Dorada on AEW Dark: Elevation. Most will be familiar with Dorada for his WWE tenure, where he performed as Gran Metalik. Despite his incredible talent, the only championship Dorada could pick up during his five-year tenure with the company was a single reign with the WWE 24/7 Championship.
While his run was not draped in gold, he did pick up some incredible wins, notably early in his run during the Cruiserweight Classic. On his way to the final, he picked up wins over Tajiri, Akira Tozawa, and Zack Sabre Jr. before losing to TJ Perkins in the final.
Serpentico may have more experience in an AEW ring, but Dorada has a proven track record against high-level competition. Dorada will pick up a win in his debut match, and we’ll see him back in AEW soon. This is sure to be a great night of action, so tune in!
