WWE returns stateside after a very successful Clash at the Castle; this week on Monday Night Raw, we see major fallout from that show as Raw returns to the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. WWE has had one previous Pay-Per-View event in this arena in the form of Money in the Bank 2010, which saw Sheamus defeat John Cena in a steel cage match to retain the WWE Championship thanks to The Nexus, thus starting the saga of John Cena vs Wade Barrett. The Miz won the Raw brand MITB Match at that event and Kane the SmackDown match, which he would cash in right after when Rey Mysterio defeated Jack Swagger to the take the World Heavyweight Championship from him.
Steel Cage US Title Bout
Bobby Lashley continues his dominance on the weekly Raw programming as he is set for yet another title defense, once again facing The Miz. However this time, the match will take place inside a steel cage. This comes after Dexter Lumis managing to distract The Miz and Ciampa last week. However, with Dexter Lumis and Johnny Gargano running around, we have to wonder how all of these pieces will eventually fall into place.
Meanwhile, Bobby Lashley will very likely continue his dominance as United States Champion while The Miz and Ciampa are enraptured by Dexter Lumis’ antics in some way, shape or form. But as of this current writing, this is the only match announced for Raw.

He Finally Turned
Vince McMahon may be gone, but The Judgment Day’s rather odd quick of losing and then potentially acquiring a member from the winning side continues as following Rey Mysterio and Edge’s victory over Damian Priest and Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio came in to celebrate, but then turned and kicked Edge low and Clotheslined his own father. While his alliance to The Judgment Day isn’t confirmed yet, it would seem this is the direction being taken. Furthermore, jokes regarding Dominik and Rhea Ripley have even been acknowledged by Ripley herself during the Clash at the Castle media scrum.
Tonight, we’ll be seeing heel Dominik for the first time.
He’s the Rocketman
After sporting his best Elton John’s Rocketman attire at Clash at the Castle, Seth Rollins defeated Matt Riddle. Last week, the joke was made about -Seth “I really wish Trips nixes the Freakin” Rollins- and sure enough, they did it. They also gave Riddle his first name back. Unfortunately, it, nor his Patrick Star-inspired tights helped him win. Seth didn’t exactly leave ‘Rick’ written on Riddles’s name tag. Matt Riddle brought in instruments. They weren’t mayonnaise, though; it was a steel chair. At the end of the day, though, Rollins was able to overcome Matt Riddle’s emotional outbursts to win.
Will a rematch come for the two on Raw following Clash at the Castle, or are we moving on? We’re likely to get that answer tonight. But given the effort WWE went through to keep this first match from happening for so long, we’ll likely see this rivalry continue in some way.
CTRL’ed Damage
At Clash at the Castle, not only did the Damage CTRL trio of IYO SKY, Dakota Kai and Bayley win, but Bayley was able to pin Bianca Belair, giving the Raw Women’s Champion her first pinfall loss since last year. It also paints a clear picture of what’s next for the championship. Bayley is likely the new #1 Contender, reviving this feud that has been ongoing between Bayley and Bianca Belair since mid-2020 when Belair was moved to SmackDown.

Bloodline Extends
While it was technically a SmackDown feud, at this point, who knows? At Clash at the Castle, Roman Reigns was able to retain the Unified Universal WWE Championship thanks to unexpected help from the third Uso, NXT’s Solo Sikoa. Will Reigns be more accepting of this actual member of the Anoa’i Family than he (and Jey Uso) is of Sami Zayn? And what of Zayn now that there seems to be unexpected competition for Roman’s favor?
All that and more are to be seen tonight on the post Clash at the Castle edition of Monday Night Raw.
