Where there is heat, there is fire, and where there is fire, there is smoke. On June 2nd, MLW announced that pro wrestling’s resident ‘smoke show’ Scarlett Bordeaux is headed to the featherweight division to shake things up with her debut on June 23rd at Battle Riot IV.
MLW’s official release reads in part:
A heat advisory has been issued for the women’s featherweight division as pro wrestling’s smoke show, Scarlett Bordeaux, has officially joined Major League Wrestling.
MLW matchmaker Cesar Duran is meeting today with several potential opponents for the silver siren’s debut. A match announcement is forthcoming.
In the meantime, it may be best to fall and pray to the Perfect 10 as Scarlett Bordeaux has made an ominous warning that all in MLW’s new featherweight division cannot stop the unstoppable.
Known as the doomsday duo, along with her husband Killer Kross, Bordeaux and Kross have left a path of destruction in their wake from Mexico to the US. Now, they have set their eyes on MLW as they look to turn up the heat in New York City on June 23.
Promising destruction and domination, what happens when Scarlett Bordeaux makes her in-ring MLW debut?

MLW promised surprises, returns, and legends when Battle Riot IV heads to the Melrose Ballroom. Already announced for the match is Bordeaux’s husband, Killer Kross, who is set to make his MLW return for the first time since February. Bordeaux on the other hand is making her debut, joining a featherweight division that has really only just started getting off the ground. MLW only recently crowned their first-ever featherweight champion when Taya Valkyrie defeated Holidead at the Kings of Coliseum event in mid-May.
The addition of Bordeaux to the featherweight division is an interesting one. Known mostly as a manager/valet over the past few years, Bordeaux has only wrestled just over 100 matches in her 11-year career. But while her reps are limited, Bordeaux is one not to be underestimated when she is in the ring. She showed that a few years ago when she pulled out a Canadian Destroyer through a table. Bordeaux has mixed it up with both women and men in her career and her appearance in MLW could see more of the same. Especially as she will be alongside her husband, who is known for his persona and fear-instilling presence. Together, these two could definitely shake things up in MLW.
