W. Morrissey to Make AEW Debut

W. Morrissey

W. Morrissey appears to be headed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was hinted at during a backstage promo segment featuring MJF this week on AEW Dynamite.

W. Morrissey Set to Make AEW Debut

MJF has been doing everything in his power to make Wardlow miserable ever since Wardlow betrayed MJF at Revolution. This week Wardlow was put to the test in a match against Lance Archer. Wardlow was able to pull out the win as MJF and Shawn Spears looked on from a skybox. Later on, in the broadcast, MJF was interviewed by Lexy Nair who asked MJF about his calm demeanor following a setback tonight.

MJF yelled at her to get out of his shot as made a phone call. After a brief conversation, MJF hung up the phone and had a message for Wardlow. Next week he would face someone smarter, stronger, and taller than him. He ended by saying “You can’t teach that” a reference to W. Morrissey’s time in WWE where he used the catchphrase alongside tag team partner Enzo Amore.

Morrissey has made IMPACT Wrestling his home as of late. This past weekend he teamed up with Jordynne Grace during the tag team elimination title match at Rebellion. Although the duo was unable to capture the IMPACT Tag Team Titles Morrissey has had a strong run during his time in IMPACT and will surely give Wardlow tough competition next week.
