For the third time, Sean Henderson Presents Weekend At Sean’s, which always seems boast a great mix of wrestlers from various organizations along with special guest stars. This weekend is where a lot of dream matches are born and it all kicks off on Friday night! Let’s take a look at Weekend At Sean’s 3, Night One.
Weekend At Sean’s 3, Night One – Full Card
Austin Luke vs Adonis Valerio vs GG Everson vs Frank Bonetti
This four-way match is largely composed of wrestlers from H2O Wrestling and it can perhaps give fans the chance to know some of the wrestlers they otherwise might not. Austin Luke is perhaps the biggest name in this match, as he has a heavy involvement in H2O, while the other three seem to be lesser-known names. While Luke has to be the favorite here, this should also give GG Everson and Frank Bonetti that stage to reach that same level where Luke is, as a more well-known name. Hopefully, this match can also convince fans that Adonis Valerio is someone other than a rip-off of Love, Doug.
Reid Walker vs Slim J
While Reid Walker has been making a name for himself in H2O, Slim J has been around in various promotions such as PWX Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling, and ACTION Wrestling. Both wrestlers can take to the air and it can only be assumed that is how this match will go. This is going to simply be a matter of fans remembering the name of Slim J- in case they didn’t know or forgot it- while also just continuing the appeal of Walker.
Billie Starkz vs Colby Corino
In so many other promotions, this would be a main event level match and it is that dream match scenario as well. Billie Starkz has been seemingly everywhere, tearing it up with the best of the best, including but not limited to Gary Jay, Calvin Tankman, Alec Price, Matt Makowski, Masha Slamovich, and EFFY. Colby Corino has been equally impressive, cementing a legacy within the National Wrestling Alliance and having matches outside of that company against the likes of Brandon Kirk, Dark Sheik, and Gringo Loco.
Starkz and Corino are both thought of, by many fans, as kids in different respects. However, this could be a match where they lift that label and show that they can truly hang with the best of them. This will be that match to watch, as it may steal the show.
Tye Hyll vs Jimmy Lloyd
Jimmy Lloyd has been consistently having great matches wherever he goes. Tye Hyll might not be as well-known, but the same can be said of Lloyd to a degree. These two met back in May of 2021 in a three-way match that also included Lucky 13. Having this be one-on-one, though, could work in the favor of Lloyd. Aiming to avenge that loss might just push him to the point of victory.
Orin Veidt vs Cole Radrick
Cole Radrick started out the year 2022 with a New Year’s Eve match against Tony Deppen in GCW. Radrick has been in the ring recently with names such as Matt Makowski, Nick Iggy, and Bryan Keith. Orin Veidt has spent time in Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling and IWA Mid-South, facing the likes of Satu Jinn, John Wayne Murdoch, and Eric Ryan. This will be an interesting match because Radrick has a fast-paced, smashmouth style of wrestling that can border on the high-flying but mostly feel technical. Meanwhile, Veidt is known for his deathmatch skills. If this doesn’t break out into a deathmatch it will be a test of Veidt’s skills and that might just turn some heads. Either way, this match will leave both wrestlers being talked about.
Stan Stylez vs G-Raver
One of the most intriguing matches on this show, Stan Stylez (perhaps best known for the Intergender Bonanza) goes one on one with G-Raver, who is likely to take any opponent’s soul. Between the whipped cream and shakeweight, it will be interesting to see how G-Raver responds to the antics of Stylez. It might just be enough to get into G-Raver’s head, leaving him stumped and Stylez able to walk away with the win.
2 Cold Scorpio vs Drew Blood
While 2 Cold Scorpio might be best known for his time spent in Extreme Championship Wrestling, Drew Blood might be best known for being part of Combat Zone Wrestling. This battle of the veterans is a super fight between the two promotions, and despite the time that’s passed, both of these talented wrestlers can still go. This will be a tough match to follow as both of these wrestlers look to show out and if there was a Champion inside of SHP, it might just be Scorpio.
Alex Colon vs Marcus Mathers
While Marcus Mathers is still very much considered to be a young wrestler, he is also seen as a young prodigy, one of the best among the students in H2O. Mathers has faced some tough opponents even recently, including Alec Price, G-Raver, Big Beef Gnarls Garvin, and Anthony Greene. If there is anyone up to facing the challenge of Alex Colon, who is ultraviolent at its best, that wrestler may very well be Mathers. This is going to be quite the huge match with the feeling of GCW vs H2O. Colon is in the spotlight now and Mathers wanting to take that from him at Weekend At Sean’s 3, Night One.
Sean Henderson Presents Weekend At Sean’s 3, Night One takes place live on Friday, February 18, 2022 from the H2O Center in Williamstown, NJ. Tickets will be available at the door. For more information, please check out SHP on Twitter, linked below.
