The Dark Order and The Elite’s bad blood has yet to simmer down as two of their most talented members, Adam Cole and John Silver, face off for the first time on AEW Rampage. Straight out of your mama’s kitchen and right into the rabbit hole, two of AEW’s fiercest competitors reignite their once intense rivalry for a shot at advancing in the TBS Women’s Championship Tournament. The Elite was embarrassed by Dark Order last week on AEW Dynamite. The affair was all treats for Dark Order and a chock full of tricks for The Elite. A match that was fun and exciting from start to finish ended with The Elite tasting their own medicine as Hangman Page evened out the odds to counter the shenanigans that The Elite employs on a constant. Hangman would hit Kenny Omega with the Deadeye then, not long after, John Silver would hit a big move of his own with the Spin Doctor on Matt Jackson to cap off the night with an impressive victory.
Knowing Adam Cole, he will not take this lying down. Evidently so with the sanctioning of this match for Friday night. Cole and his friends will not let anyone get a leg up on them and they need a little payback of their own. With that being said, “Johnny Hungee” will be itching for a fight as The Dark Order continues to be the thorn on the side of The Elite. Will Silver further prove that Dark Order has the number of The Elite? Or will Adam Cole exact a measure of revenge on behalf of his stablemates?
Fight For The Right
These two have a little history between one another and it is quite fitting that once again they will square off in the ring come Rampage. Red Velvet has challenged once before for the AEW Women’s World Championship but fell a little short against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. in a valiant effort. How sweet would it be if Velvet manages to go all the way and win the TBS Championship and taste gold for the first time in her AEW career? But, there is a bit of a problem. In fact, a very dangerous problem. She will be standing toe to toe against an unhinged and psychotic competitor in the form of The Bunny.
Everyone knows by now the lengths The Bunny will go to in order to get what she wants. Now that a spot in the semifinal and possibly a TBS Championship at the end of the rabbit hole hangs in the balance? Surely, The Bunny will give it her best shot and do whatever it takes to take down Red in the first round TBS Women’s Championship Tournament. All bets are off come Rampage and this will surely be a test of each woman’s will to win. Who will have their hand raised at the end of the night? Come find out live this Friday night on TNT!
