Tag Team Action on AEW Dark: Elevation
AEW has always been the place to find great tag team wrestling, and tonight showcases just how deep their tag roster goes.
First up are Santana & Ortiz, who have been on a hot streak lately and seem primed to challenge the AEW World Tag Team Champions Lucha Brothers to a match in the near future. Tonight they take on the team of Obariyon & Kodama, aka Chris Peaks & Louie Valle, who have been working on the indies as singles and as a team for over a decade.
Also in action tonight are FTR, who are anxious to get back on track to regaining the AEW World Tag Team Championship since Cash Wheeler‘s gruesome injury during a match against Santana & Ortiz back in July. Currently, they’re ranked #5 in AEW’s tag team rankings, and they’re looking to score a win here tonight against Zach Nystrom & Elijah Dean.
Also on the comeback trail are The Acclaimed, who have been looking to regain momentum since Max Caster returned following a suspension over the summer. He and Anthony Bowens have been on a winning streak since his return, and tonight they take on the indie team of Colin Delaney & Cheech.
