Raquel Gonzalez vs Franky Monet WWE NXT Card

NXT 2.0 continues to deliver the world of professional wrestling new faces, new groups, and plenty of discussion as the show takes shape. This week’s edition looks to be all about the women as there will be three matches of importance set between them, including two title matches. Add in Roderick Strong‘s first NXT Cruiserweight Championship defense and you get the idea that this should be a special night. Here’s a look at the WWE NXT card for Tuesday.

WWE NXT Card (9/28/21)

— Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis’s Honeymoon

— B-Fab vs. Elektra Lopez in a No Disqualification Match

— NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship: Io Shirai & Zoey Stark (c) vs. Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne)

Raquel Gonzalez will finally get her chance to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Franky Monet on Tuesday night. The match was originally set for the inaugural night of NXT 2.0 but vanished with no cause whatsoever. Now with NXT 2.0 settling down, it’s time Gonzalez has her first match as part of the brand’s new vision. Monet has been nearly unbeatable in singles action and she should have Robert Stone and Jessi Kamea by her side to aid her if things go south. There isn’t a clear winner here as Monet has won championships wherever she has been in her career. Seeing her dethrone Gonzalez would not be a surprise and allow Gonzalez to enter the WWE Draft this coming Friday. It still feels a bit early for the dominant Gonzalez to lose, however.

Prediction: Raquel Gonzalez
