AEW Dark Preview (09/28/21)
AEW Dark has 11 matches lined up for tonight’s card. You’ll see Matt Sydal & Dante Martin vs The Factory, Carlie Bravo & JDX vs. Private Party, a number of AEW debuts, and more! Here’s a rundown of the announced matches:
- Matt Sydal & Dante Martin vs. The Factory (QT Marshall & Aaron Solo, w/ Nick Comoroto)
- Nikita Knight vs. Thunder Rosa
- Jameson Ryan & Brick Aldridge vs Bear Country (Bear Bronson & Bear Boulder)
- Dark Order’s 10 vs. Brandon Gore
- Darius Lockhart vs. Ricky Starks (w/ Hook)
- Jake St. Patrick & Ryzin vs. Cezar Bononi & Adrian Jaoude
- Carlie Bravo & JDX vs. Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy)
- Leila Grey vs. Kiera Hogan
- Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray vs. Dark Order’s Evil Uno & Stu Grayson
- Arjun Singh vs. Lance Archer
- Reka Tehaka vs. Julia Hart (w/ The Varsity Blonds)
AEW Debuts tonight on Dark !
Dark is often the place where AEW debuts new talent, and tonight is no exception.
First up is Adrian Jaoude, who is best-known to wrestling fans as Artuo Ruas is WWE. Jaoude comes from a legitimate amateur wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu background and was signed to NXT in 2015. During his time in NXT, Ruas also worked in EVOLVE Wrestling, where he worked with current AEW talents like Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy, and Dark Order’s John Silver.
While under the WWE umbrella, Ruas also appeared as part of the ill-fated Raw Underground segment, before heading back to NXT and getting his release in June of this year. Tonight he teams with fellow Brazilian Cezar Bononi to take on Jake St. Patrick and Ryzin.
Also debuting tonight is indie talent Brandon Gore. Gore trained in Minnesota under Ken Anderson before furthering his training at The Nightmare Factory, which has produced other talent being showcased tonight on Dark including Julia Hart, Carlie Bravo, & JDX. Tonight, Gore takes on Dark Order’s 10.
Last but not least is Nikita Knight, who, unfortunately for her, makes her pro wrestling debut tonight on Dark against the number one-ranked Thunder Rosa. Tune in tonight at 7pm EST on YouTube to see all the action on AEW Dark !
