Fortunately, there is some good news. The rumor mill suggests that Stephanie Vaquer could be nearing her return. After La Primera lost the Women’s World Championship to Morgan, she was attacked by the Judgment Day. Her absence has created a massive void in the division, and fans have dearly missed her.
Morgan could find a way to retain the championship at SummerSlam. However, her celebration would be short-lived as Vaquer could make a shock return to lay out the Women’s World Champion.
#2. Randy Orton Returns to Ruin Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk
Randy Orton’s status has been a great cause of concern and speculation recently. The Viper has not been seen since punting Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42: Night One. It was meant to be a cliffhanger ending as WWE clearly wanted to continue the saga between Rhodes and Orton.
However, Orton’s status has not been addressed on TV. There could be several reasons for guarding his status, but WWE could also be sowing the seeds for a massive shocker. The American Nightmare is set to battle CM Punk at SummerSlam 2026.
Since both men are two of WWE’s biggest assets, the company would want to protect them in every scenario. Having the Viper ruin the match is an effective way of achieving that goal. Orton could punt both Rhodes and Punk in the skull. The match would end in a disqualification as the Apex Predator makes his intentions clear.
