Dallas will host the semi-final match of the FIFA World Cup on Tuesday. But before then, WWE Raw looks to prove it has more star power than the French national soccer team by presenting a loaded Monday night show from Dallas, TX.
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will appear at the American Airlines Center. But will new WWE Champion CM Punk? Although Punk’s appearance isn’t confirmed, a week after shocking Sami Zayn and taking his title, he must show up. There are some exciting matches booked too.

Biggest WWE Raw Stars in Texas
Last week’s WWE Raw presented a twisting tale from start to finish that saw Cody Rhodes’ body slammed through a table and his head rammed in a car door by Gunther. Unsurprisingly, he was unfit to challenge for the WWE Championship later in the show. We saw Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis spend the night trying to clean up the mess.
CM Punk would return after a 77-day leave and win the gold in his hometown. It was fun, unpredictable writing. What happens next?
CM Punk must appear as champion. Sami Zayn will want a rematch. Gunther will want a title shot. Rhodes will want the championship match stolen from him. Expect this to play out on WWE SmackDown, but with a storyline so big it may overlap onto WWE Raw.
But with Brock Lesnar sent to appear and follow up his greatest promo of all time – ‘talk sh*t, get hit’ – there might not be room. Roman Reigns will also offer his rebuttal to Seth Rollins’ verbal assault on him last week. But will LA Knight have the balls to interrupt the World Heavyweight Champion too?
What to Expect on WWE Raw in Dallas
Penta will face the winner of WWE Raw’s Intercontinental Championship No.1 Contenders Gauntlet match at WWE SummerSlam.
Let’s quickly assess each man’s chances of winning the gauntlet. Joe Hendry. I do not believe in Joe Hendry. Dominik Mysterio. I believe Danhausen may costhausen Mysterio here. Rusev. The Bulgarian was built up as the biggest threat in this match last week, which means he definitely won’t win.
Ethan Page. Could a Page and Rusev fallout be the reason neither man wins? I hope not. They are a great duo that we haven’t seen the best of yet. Je’Von Evans. You’ll go far bouncy one, but not all the way.
Chad Gable. A win and a title shot for a first elusive singles champion win in his home town at WWE SummerSlam. Has. To. Happen. Keep an eye out for Otis though. Now that Maxxine Dupri is no longer by his side, Otis might act out against Gable.
Elsewhere, ahead of coming up against the entire Judgement Day odds at WWE SummerSlam when she challenges Liv Morgan, IYO SKY faces Roxanne Perez. She will certainly come up against the entire Judgement Day odds. I hope she’s got a plan.
Finally, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria meet face-to-face to clear the air after the latter turned on the former. By clear the air, we mean having a blazing row, throwing hands at each other and setting up a match at WWE SummerSlam. Sounds like a lot of fun to me. Enjoy WWE Raw from Dallas, TX.
