WWE NXT Review (6/9/26) – Winning to Pass the Test

NXT Review – Nygma Says

This episode was probably the best I’ve watched since NXT Revenge, with a lot of action. It could have been a great one, but the Mr. NXT Pageant contest ruined the rest of the show. As always, NXT women are giving it all. They are the show; they steal the show. Tatum Paxley was a fantastic Champion. We finally saw Mason Rook competing, and it was time. Also, DarkState’s implosion is a delight to witness.

The words “NXT Great American Bash” have finally been said. As of now, we know Naraku will face Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Championship. Lola Vice will face Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship. The rest of the card remains hard to predict, especially if we expect a PLE-worthy card.

Well, this new era of NXT is as exciting as it can be surprising. I’ll see you next week as I keep on exploring the NXT world through the NXTNA “cold war.” Till then, may the Nygma be with you.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
