WWE NXT Review (6/9/26) – Winning to Pass the Test

WWE NXT Review – The Nygma’s View

Fraxiom is back

Former NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom dazzled in their return to Tuesday nights as they took down the team of Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno. The newcomer Moreno looked incredible early on, battling Frazer to a stalemate and demanding his fellow countryman Axiom be tagged into the match.

The momentum continued with tandem dives to the outside and a huge spinning back elbow from Dar, but the speedy SmackDown Superstars wouldn’t go down easily. Fraxiom managed to catch Moreno with a massive double superkick, which led to a match-ending Golden Ration/Phoenix Splash combo. A handshake sealed the respect between the four wrestlers.

Naraku starts the war

Tony D’Angelo has a new #1 Contender for the NXT Championship as Naraku knocked off Mason Rook in a high-stakes matchup. The match nearly came to a crashing halt after Rook nailed Naraku with a massive avalanche powerslam, but somehow the Japanese Superstar kicked out. Out of nowhere, Kam Hendrix arrived at ringside and distracted Rook long enough for Naraku to send him to The Abyss.

Kendal Grey did it

Kendal Grey is officially the #1 Contender to the NXT Women’s Championship after defeating Kelani Jordan in a high-octane matchup. Jordan’s attempt to gain an early advantage backfired as Grey ducked the cheapshot and started the bout on even footing. Jordan began to shine, but her superkick into a Five Star Five Frog Splash wasn’t enough to put Grey away.

The two Superstars began trading submission attempts, with Grey locking in an armbar and an ankle lock, but Jordan refused to give in. After slipping out of the ankle lock, Jordan got nailed with Shades of Grey, which punched Grey’s ticket to NXT Great American Bash.
