TNA Slammiversary 2026 will take place live on a crowded Sunday, June 28, at 4 PM EST, from the Agganis Arena in Boston, MA. This Saturday and Sunday, TNA Wrestling had 2 days of live events/tapings for the upcoming Thursday Night iMPACT episodes.
And it was one hell of a weekend. Spoilers have been rare to find, but enough to let a PLE card partially appear. Also, two talents were released, while other talents made big announcements on the road to TNA Slammiversary. Let’s Nygma dive into it.

What to retain from the 2 days in Denver?
After a massive Wicked Garden match last Thursday, the next 3 TNA iMPACT episodes are the end of the road to TNA Slammiversary 2026. Eric Young is the #1 contender for the TNA World Championship, while KC Navarro became the #1 contender for the TNA International Championship when he pinned Mustafa Ali in the Champions Challenge.
TNA Wrestling announced these 2 Championship matches would take place at the taping session, plus more. Ricky Sosa was also making his iMPACT Zone return. The big bomb came from Nic Nemeth; he announced he would cash in his Call Your Shot gauntlet trophy at TNA Slammiversary, whoever wins the Mike Santana-Eric Young bout.
EXCLUSIVE: @NicTNemeth is giving his word – he's not going to spring the Call Your Shot trophy on somebody, he's calling his shot in advance for #TNASlammiversary. pic.twitter.com/Khg4XTfT9v

Two Talents Released
One was not a surprise; the second is a huge one. TNA Wrestling issued the following last night.
Steve Maclin & Myla Grace Released
TNA Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Steve Maclin and Myla Grace, effective immediately. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.
If it was confirmed last night, Myla Grace being granted her release was not a surprise. Grace was announced to take part in an OTT show in Ireland that weekend. Grace joined TNA in May 2025, but she was primarily used as a jobber to the stars, losing 16 of the 20 matches she wrestled in TNA Wrestling.
Steve Maclin noted on social media that his TNA exit came about after he asked for his release from the promotion. He is said to have hoped to keep word of his departure quiet. Maclin had reportedly been outspoken about his frustrations with TNA’s creative, back to 2025.
Steve Maclin had been a part of TNA Wrestling since the summer of 2021. He is a one-time TNA World Champion, but will remain the inaugural and two-time TNA International Champion. His final match was a TNA World Title match against Mike Santana on the May 21 edition of Thursday Night IMPACT.
TNA Slammiversary Card – What we know now
As of writing, four things have been confirmed:
- All 6 Championships will be defended.
- A Ladder match will happen.
- The TNA X-Division Championship will be defended in an Ultimate-X Match. Cedric Alexander will defend against Leon Slater and 4 other wrestlers.
- The TNA Knockouts Championship will see Champion Léi Ying Lee face Xia Brookside, as she won the Knockouts Champions Challenge.
The taping sessions revealed Fabian Aichner, Frankie Kazarian, KC Navarro, and Mr. Elegance would join Champion Cedric Alexander and former Champion Leon Slater in the Ultimate-X match.
After the Righteous confirmed the Ladder match would be tag-team related, the System will defend the TNA World Tag Team Championship in a Ladder match against The Righteous and The Hardys.
