WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XLIV Results (5/23/26):

6-Woman Tag Team Match

For the first time in 12 years, Fort Wayne, Indiana, gets a live WWE event hosted in their amazing city, and it kicks off with a blockbuster 6-Woman Tag Team mega battle as WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley teams up with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to take on B-FAB, Michin, and Jade Cargill!

Ripley’s started hot, with Bliss and Flair running roughshod over all three opposing women, with Flair launching Bliss, and Alexa throwing herself off the top rope for a Cross Body to set the tone. Unfortunately, the momentum would shift as Cargill would pull Bliss out of the ring and Thrust Kick her into oblivion.

This tide shift led to Charlotte getting isolated for most of the match. B-FAB, along with Michin, was very impressive in this match. Unfortunately, a miscue, with B-FAB and Flair hitting a Bicycle Kick at the same time, would grant the “Queen” an opening to tag in a ticked-off Rhea Ripley.

Ripley would wreck shop, taking on all three women by herself. Michin saw herself in an Electric Chair Drop position but countered into a Poisonrana. Fortunately for Mami, Flair was up and ready for the tag. Charlotte would get the tag and go on a tear of her own. But again, Michin, after all the abuse, would find it in herself to hit the Styles Clash.

It was bedlam after this, with all competitors brawling in the ring. When the dust settled, Cargill and Ripley found themselves in the middle of the ring, and if it weren’t for Michin, Cargill would’ve fallen to the Riptide. In the closing moments of this match, Ripley and Flair finally settled their differences with a handshake and stereo Fallaway Slams, with Bliss looking so proud and joining in on the party.

Ripley and her newfound friends may have celebrated way too early, as Jade would wreck them, hitting Ripley with a Bicycle Kick, then propping her up for Jaded to notch her team the win. This victory gives Cargill the ball heading into Clash in Italy, and it’s definitely a big momentum shifter.

Becky Lynch  vs. Sol Ruca

In her first big test, Sol Ruca takes on the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch in a bout to test her merit for the big leagues. From the beginning, this match was marred in controversy as Lynch would throw the belt at Ruca’s face. Sol would catch her with a Clothesline, and the aerial assault would begin, as Ruca would overwhelm Lynch at every turn.

“The Man” had zero answers for Sol Ruca, and that’s why, when Ruca went for the Sol Snatcher, Lynch would pull WWE official Jessika Carr into harm’s way. With Carr out of it, the referee would call for the bell and disqualify Becky Lynch. As Ruca was checking in on the referee, Lynch would cheapshot Ruca with the title belt, hitting her in the back of the head.

Lynch would hit the Manhandle slam three devastating times, making a statement, but at what cost? Is Lynch afraid of the new star, considering she certainly had her number tonight?

Intercontinental Championship Match

Ethan Page looks to “put the fear” into Penta as he challenges the masked man for the Intercontinental Title. In a match of the night candidate, Ethan Page and Penta went absolutely mental on this night, in a bout that was the very definition of a “stalemate.”

At one point, both competitors were so gassed, they just collapsed after hitting kicks on each other at the same time. Page would recover and hit the Confidence-Breaker, but Penta would not go away easily. So Page went for another tool in his bag, looking to hit the Ego-Plex, but Penta countered into a Penta Driver. In a gutsy kickout, Page did not want to go away.

Penta set him up for a Mexican Destroyer, but Page would counter and hoist up Penta on the top rope, hitting an Avalanche Powerslam. Penta once again kicked out, infuriating Page. Desperate, Page would untie the buckle cover on one side of the ring, leading to the WWE official trying to put it back on, but Page used it as a diversion to unbuckle another one, sending Penta headfirst into the exposed buckle and rolling him up.

Penta, in one last gasp, kicked out, and sent Page into the buckle himself, followed up by a Springboard Mexican Destroyer to retain the Intercontinental Title in an amazing display.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match

Next on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME), WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Brie Bella and Paige defend against the daunting Irresistible Forces. Nia Jax tried to get the jump for her team by bullrushing Paige and Brie, but the champs would duck out of the way and unload on Jax and Lash Legend.

Unfortunately, that would be the last time they could get offense in for quite a while, as Lash and Nia absolutely dominated them, isolating Paige. Legend would go on a tear, but her inexperience would cost her in more ways than one. Legend would rush Paige, and the veteran would duck out of the way, sending her to the outside.

Paige would hot tag Brie, as the Bella Twin would hit a Missile Dropkick on Nia Jax, followed up by some YES! Kicks and a Running Knee to the bottom rope. However, Jax would once again overpower her and tag in Legend. Lash would hit a crushing second rope Splash, but instead of covering her, she wanted a spectacular win, executing their patented Assisted Guillotine Leg Drop.

Paige would go in for the save, and Brie would officially tag her. Paige would roll up Nia, but out of the official’s vision, Brie would anchor Paige to get more leverage, pushing on her back with her feet, as Brie Bella and Paige retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles after pinning Jax in a very ingenious way.

World Tag Team Championship Match

For the main event of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XLIV, The Vision, Logan Paula and Austin Theory defend the World Tag Team Titles against a team who wants all the smoke, The Street Profits. It was even to begin the match, but suddenly, it was clear that The Vision did their homework and was beating the Profits at their own game.

Of course, Paul and Theory were cocky, which ended up giving Angelo Dawkins an opening after hitting Paul with a Running Reverse Neckbreaker. Dawk would tag in Montez Ford, and he unleashed like a house on fire. With Logan and Austin against the wall, Bron Breakker would run in, only to get launched by Dawkins into the announcer’s table.

Dawkins would hit Theory with the Skyhigh Spinebuster, followed up by a picture-perfect Frog Splash from Montez Ford. The Profits would’ve been champions, but the “Oracle” Paul Heyman would put Theory’s leg on the bottom rope, causing the official to stop the count. Paul would get on the apron to argue, then struck Ford with the Brass Knuckles, knocking him out cold. Dawkins would launch himself with a Tope Con Hilo to take out Paul, but it was too late.

Theory would go for the cover, allowing The Vision to retain the World Tag Team Titles. The Vision celebrated, but Breakker wanted more, torpedoing both Profits with a Spear and ending the night with a massive statement.

That’s all for LIVE WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XLIV results as they happened in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on May 23, 2026.
