Thursday Night iMPACT Review – The Nygma’s View

A Dominant System?

The System wanted us to know that they are the most dominant force in TNA history. Bear Bronson and Brian Myers are the Tag Team Champions. Last week, Cedric Alexander beat Leon Slater and captured the TNA X-Division Championship. Now, Eddie Edwards has his eyes on the TNA World Championship. The System is ready to reign over TNA entirely. Cedric Alexander called out Fabian Aichner for interrupting his moment after winning the TNA X-Division Championship.

Fabian Aichner said that he is ready to take his place at the top. He has his eyes set on the TNA X-Division Title, and The System charged at Aichner. Aichner took out the members of The System and slid into the ring to take on Alexander. The Champion went for a Lumbar Check, Aichner avoided it, and locked him in a Chokehold. The System rushed to his aid.

Arianna Grace is not done with TNA Wrestling

NXT’s Arianna Grace and Stacks joined Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary for the Elayna Black/Indi Hartwell match. A good fight, but when Hartwell was on the verge of winning the match, Grace and Stacks attacked her in the ring. Grace blamed her father for her losing her TNA Knockouts World title.

Director of Authority Santino Marella joined them ringside and said he believes Léi Ying Lee deserved the rematch. He pulled out The Cobra, and Director of Authority Daria Rae interrupted him. She called out Santino for picking a fight with Arianna Grace and Stacks. She also told Stacks to go the official way to have a match against his “father-in-law.”

Willow is back

As announced, Jeff Hardy and Dutch will be handcuffed to the posts ringside. Before the match started, Vincent wanted to force “Broken” Matt Hardy to emerge. Hardy bit Vincent and sent him to the outside. Dutch NutCracked Matt Hardy behind the referee’s back, and Vincent took advantage of it. Vincent struck a stoic Jeff Hardy outside the ring.

Vincent sent Matt Hardy back outside the ring, and Dutch landed multiple kicks and strikes onto him behind the referee’s back. Hardy went to slam Vincent face-first into the steel steps, but Vincent avoided it and slammed Matt’s face into the steel steps instead. Back inside the ring, Matt Hardy “Deleted” Vincent twice and slammed him down. Dutch interfered again and again.

Vincent later shoved Hardy into the referee and dropped Matt Hardy. He grabbed the keys from the referee’s pocket, and the lights went out. Willow appeared inside the ring, attacked Vincent, and the lights went out again. Matt Hardy slammed down Vincent with Twist of Fate and secured the pinfall.
