Longest Reigning NXT North American Champion Announced as Raw’s Newest Superstar

Monday Night Raw has a new face, and he’s All Ego. On the Raw after WrestleMania, Adam Pearce announced that former NXT Champion and longest-reigning NXT North American Champion Ethan Page is officially Raw’s newest superstar.

Page was announced during a segment with Pearce, Penta, and Je’Von Evans. Evans let Penta know he wants the Intercontinental Championship, and he doesn’t plan on going anywhere. Penta was all for Evans’ ambition, but told the Young OG the title isn’t going anywhere either. That’s when Ethan Page rolled up to tell Evans he lost at WrestleMania 42 and didn’t deserve a second chance. Page made it clear to Evans that he always gets what he wants, and what he wants is the Intercontinental Championship. And because this is a wrestling show with wrestling matches, Pearce told the boys to stop talking because tonight, on the Raw after WrestleMania, they’d be settling things in the ring.

Who is Ethan Page?

A longtime indie wrestler who also spent time in TNA and AEW, the 36-year-old Page came to NXT in 2024, quickly making a name for himself. He won the NXT Championship at Heatwave in just his fourth match with the company. Page held the title for 86 days before dropping it to Trick Williams. Page remained in and around the top of NXT’s scene for the next year before another title came his way. In May 2025, Page challenged Ricky Saints for the NXT North American Championship in a battle of former AEW stars. Page was successful and began his reign as champ. Page defended the title 13 times before dropping it to Myles Bourne in February of this year. His 273-day reign is the longest of all-time.

But Page didn’t rest on his laurels, even as champion. A one-time team-up with Chelsea Green turned into a wildly successful mixed tag pairing as the two Canadians took AAA by storm. Page and Green’s chemistry led to them winning the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship, which the two held for 97 days and defended in both NXT and AAA.

Now, Page heads to Raw, where he will face new opponents and new opportunities. The first of which comes on Monday night as he takes on Je’Von Evans, a man with whom he shares quite a history from their shared time in NXT.
