TNA Rebellion 2026 Review (4/11/26) – Ratings and Consequences

TNA International Title Match – Order 4’s Mustafa Ali defeated Trey Miguel (c) (4,25/5)

What to retain? What’s next? I thought it was going to be tough to top the opening match between Slater and Alexander. False, Ali and Miguel blew that one out of the water. The action was unreal. They just threw everything they had at each other. The Great Hands and Tasha Steelz interfered; we knew it would happen. It doesn’t take anything away from what happened in the ring. Fantastic one.

The Undead Realm Segment (4,5/5)

What to retain? What’s next? I gave it four and a half, not five, because there will be a new segment on Thursday night. Kudos to Eric Tompkins, who once again made magic with his cinematic orchestra. Mitchell’s apology to Abyss was a deep, humanistic speech.

Abyss remembered all the matches, the Barbed Wire, with no regret. Mitchell said that when he was a child, he wanted to be a mad scientist because he wanted to build monsters. And Abyss proved him wrong. CLICK, DOOMSDAY one more time, and Abyss disappeared. Rosemary grinned, so it’s not over.

TNA World Tag Team Title Match – The System (Bear Bronson & Brian Myers) defeated The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) (c) (3,25)

What to retain? What’s next? If the Hardys wanted to get rid of the Righteous, they had to lose the Championship. Then, the System may not have been the greater choice. The match was hard to watch because Jeff and Matt seemed to be suffering from doing what they love the most. At 51 and 48, Matt and Jeff couldn’t be as extreme as they were for a very long time. Easy to say, even if hard to deal with.

TNA World Title Match – Mike Santana (c) defeated Eddie Edwards (3,5/5)

What to retain? What’s next? The match went from being a slow, plodding affair to an overbooked cluster where the big surprise (Alisha betraying Moose to re-align with Eddie and the System) didn’t even pay off. It was a good match, wasted by everything happening around.

The TNA World Championship was not defended; it became a toy in the storyline. Moose stared at Santana from the ramp after the match. If Moose is the next #1 contender, the System will still be running after him, and so, the title match would be a bad one. We have the right World Champion, but not the right World Championship matches.

That’s all for the TNA Rebellion 2026 review. Till our weekly NXT and TNA Wrestling “rendezvous,” may the Nygma be with you.
