NXT North American Championship match: Myles Borne (c) vs. Johnny Gargano
- Is Johnny Wrestling’s heart still beating in Gargano’s body? Huge question. Candice LeRae came with him. Gargano is focused, but so is Borne. The crowd chants, “Johnny Wrestling!” They exchange shots. Borne locks Gargano’s arm. Now, headlock. Gargano lets think that he is lethargic, so he attacks Borne with a missile dropkick. Gargano has his eyes set on the title. Outside the ring, lariats unloaded on Borne’s chest. Borne sends Gargano spine-first into the ring post.
- Borne continues his assault with a powerslam and a backbreaker. Gargao regroups. Borne’s shoulder hits the ring post. Gargano continues with kicks and a Spear. He tries to break Borne’s left arm. Cheeky Nandos. Gargano is alive, as it seems. He flies on Borne outside. Borne climbs to the top rope, HUGE POWERSLAM. They exchange shots in the middle of the ring, neck on the knee from Borne on Gargano. The Kid is so damn good.
- Borne sends Gargano outside the ring, on the steel ramp. Back in the ring, Willow’s Bell and Tornado DDT. Borne doesn’t surrender. Gargano’s Escape, no! Borne hit the Borne Again. Boston crab, Gargno tries to grab the rope. Counter. LERAE SLAPS BORNE! Gargano’s Escape. Hold on, Myles. Yes, he gets the rope. I agree with Booker, what a match! Punches outside the ring. Superkick by Gargano, two Borne Again, and Borne retains. AWESOME MATCH.
- As he shows his respect to Gargano, Dion Lennox attacks Borne with a chair. It’s not a surprise, as we all suspected Lennox would try to be on his own.
