We are well down the Road to WWE WrestleMania 42. WWE has put together its big main event programs, and they are in full swing as we march towards Las Vegas. It has been a rather rough road as the injury bug has hit WWE hard, putting them in a corner and forcing some changes to their big matches. Still, they have done a great job of putting together a captivating card, and they do have an ace up their sleeve.
Heading into WrestleMania, there are a few surprises that could happen. WWE is always known to hold things pretty close to the vest, and there is potential for some incredible returns. There are rumors of wrestlers who are ready to make a comeback, return to their former glory, or break into the company for the first time. Which of these returns is the most likely to happen? Let’s take a look at some strong contenders for a surprise return at WrestleMania.
Bianca Belair
We are going to keep banging this drum until it speaks itself into existence. It has been nearly a year since we have seen the EST of WWE, and the hope is that her drought will end soon. Her last match was the amazing triple threat match that stole the show at WrestleMania 41. In it, she injured her hand, and that calamity has kept her out of action ever since.
The comeback trail has been a hard one for Belair, but she has been making progress. She has been seen taking some light contact, but will not be ready to compete at WrestleMania 42. That doesn’t mean that WWE shouldn’t be bringing her to Las Vegas, even having Belair confront the winner of either Women’s Championship match.
She would be the perfect first challenger for either winner, but more importantly, would be the perfect one to stand across from Jade Cargill. Considering their history, this would be spot on, and WrestleMania would be the best place to reignite this program.
