The Rock Wraps Jumanji just in time for WWE WrestleMania 42

 The Rock has wrapped Jumanji 3, freeing his schedule just in time for WWE WrestleMania 42.

Ticket sales for WWE WrestleMania 42 have been much slower than in previous years.

WWE has been forced to discount tickets for the Las Vegas two-night event multiple times and enlist John Cena as a last-minute host.

WWE WrestleMania 42 emanates from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026.

The sports entertainment giant will want to put on a ground-breaking show to win back some good grace among fans. An appearance from The Rock could be the perfect thing to make sure WWE WrestleMania 42 make headlines globally.

The Rock, Roman and Rhodes

Two years ago, The Rock vs. Roman Reigns was scrapped for WWE WrestleMania 40 with Cody Rhodes dethroning Reigns instead.

One year later, The Rock successfully sought revenge on Rhodes for stealing his moment. “The Final Boss” orchestrated John Cena’s heel turn, which led to him taking the title from Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania 41.

This year, Reigns will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk.

An interference from The Rock would send shockwaves across WWE and set up the much-anticipated match between the two cousins.

The Rock vs. Reigns would be an unrivalled box office attraction for WWE WrestleMania 43. But The Rock could come for Rhodes and again cost him the WWE Championship as he defends that title against Randy Orton at WWE WrestleMania 42.

Dwayne Johnson Gets In the way of The Rock

The only thing potentially in the way would be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s movie schedule.

Jumanji 3 hits cinemas on Christmas Day 2026.

Johnson also stars in Moana which is set for a summer 2026 release. Johnson is set to begin work on Fast Forever and a Martin Scorsese Hawaii-set crime drama.
