WWE SmackDown Preview (3/27/26) - U.S. Women's Title on the Line

On the final SmackDown of March 2026, we will deal with all the devastation that happened last week, where the WWE Universe saw an absolutely unhinged edition of Friday Night Fight Night. It’s extremely fitting that this week’s SmackDown will take place in the state where the “Land of Extreme” called home because this destruction seems like it has no end in sight. WWE Universe, let’s get right into it. Here’s a WWE SmackDown preview for March 28, 2026.

Gold Struck

The Bella Twins on this past week’s SmackDown had the opportunity to achieve what they couldn’t in their initial run as a tag team in WWE: become WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. While they had to go through the imposing Irresistible Forces, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, if anyone could do it, it’s the duo who’d executed “Twin Magic” so flawlessly for nearly 20 years.

Unfortunately, Jax would try to spoil it. Even though Charlotte Flair would try to save Nikki and Brie from the beating of a lifetime, it put the heat on her as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match ended in a no-contest after Flair struck Jax to prevent her from using the tag team title belts on the Bellas.

It’s no surprise that The Bella Twins blame Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair for their loss last week. They look to settle it in the ring this coming Friday night as these two teams face off in a match that can inch them one step closer to becoming the team that has the opportunity to dethrone Jax and Legend from their perch.

Will Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss earn another shot at the gold? Or will the WWE Hall-of-Famers reassert their dominance as the clear favorite to challenge, and maybe, eventually win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships?

Tiffy Time Once Again?

Speaking of gold, Tiffany Stratton has been trying her absolute best to once again nab some hardware after her devastating loss to Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship late last year. Stratton has been on an absolute tear as of late and has now turned her attention to Giulia and the Women’s United States Championship.

Two weeks ago, Stratton made an impactful statement as she got a gutsy win over Giulia’s personal representative, Kiana James, in a close contest. This past Friday night, Giulia made it crystal clear that she’s had it with Stratton, and she looks to take care of business this coming SmackDown as she puts the WWE Women’s U.S. Championship on the line.

Two of the most phenomenal performers in WWE collide this Friday night as they look to go into WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the WWE Women’s United States Championship around their waist.
