WWE SmackDown Results (3/6/26) – LIVE Updates: The Viper and American Nightmare Goes Face-to-Face

Damian Priest & R-Truth vs. Los Garza

Backstage, we see R-Truth and Randy Orton catching up with Jelly Roll, who’s due for an appearance on Miz TV later tonight. Damian Priest comes out as he and Truth, after their number one contender’s victory last week, look to keep it rolling as they take on Los Garza.

Priest and Truth did not look like a team tonight, getting outperformed by the well-oiled machine team of Los Garza, which was punctuated in the initial stages of this match as Angel and Berto hit stereo Moonsaults on the outside.

After a relentless assault from the Luchadors, Priest would go on an absolute tear, putting his team on his back, with the comeback being solidified by a Razor’s Edge on Angel.

Truth would get tagged in, as the two would hit the Attitude Adjustment and South of Heaven to pick up the win.

Backstage:

  • We see Alex Shelley and Candice LeRae tending to Johnny Gargano, saying he needs to be Johnny Wrestling again. Chris Sabin would get into it with Alex Shelley, saying he needs to focus on MCMG, as they have a match against Fraxiom next week, and he wants to see if Shelley is still committed to the team.
  • We see Danhausen talking to The Miz, promoting his t-shirt and how he can give the merch to “Jelly Jam” on Miz TV tonight. Danhausen ran down his demands before getting silenced by Miz. Danhausen once again cursed Miz ahead of his interview with Jelly Roll on Miz TV.

Miz TV w/ Jelly Roll

The Miz brings back Miz TV tonight as he speaks to Jelly Roll. Miz would butter up Jelly Roll, saying he needs a mentor to elevate his WWE career, but Jelly Roll would immediately say no.

Jelly Roll said he loves The Miz, but he’s aware of the A-Lister’s history of turning his back on his partners. Miz said Jelly Roll owes him for losing 250 pounds after he helped him at SummerSlam two years ago. Jelly Roll said he’s the one who did that work, and Miz should be ashamed of taking credit for that.

Miz would go a step further, saying he liked Jelly Roll more when he was “fat.” Jelly Roll would take exception to this, saying he’ll beat him down right now if he continues to provoke him.

Kit Wilson would get involved, saying Miz isn’t the problem, but it’s Jelly Roll himself. Wilson would call Jelly Roll a bad role model, saying he’s “fatphobic” and promotes unhealthy beauty standards.

Despite Jelly Roll saying he actually likes Kit Wilson, both men would go nose-to-nose. Jelly Roll would go for the home run hit on Wilson, only for Kit to duck, and The Miz to eat the punch.

Backstage:

  • We see Ilja Dragunov and Apollo Crews laughing at the misery of The Miz. Carmelo Hayes would talk to Dragunov, trying to hype him up and looking for him to “lock in” and challenge him for the U.S. Championship. Hayes claimed there’s something deeper regarding why Ilja wouldn’t face him, and Dragunov just said he just can’t.
  • Tiffany Stratton would send a message to Giulia, saying he’s about to destroy Kiana James, and she’s coming for the Women’s U.S. Championship as he pushed the wheelchair-sporting Chelsea Green out of the way.
