Ranking the 5 Greatest Celebrity Appearances in WrestleMania History

1. Mike Tyson (WrestleMania 14)

WrestleMania 14 took place at the height of the Monday Night Wars, with WWE battling WCW for ratings supremacy on a weekly basis. Needing a massive ‘needle mover’ to tip the scales, WWE turned to the baddest man on the planet: Mike Tyson.

Following Tyson’s infamous “Ear Bite” incident against Evander Holyfield, Vince McMahon took a massive risk by bringing him in, reportedly signing the boxer for $3 million to serve as the “Special Guest Enforcer.” Tyson was inserted directly into the high-stakes main event between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels.

Tyson entered the match aligned with Michaels and D-Generation X, but when the referee was knocked unconscious during the bout, Tyson stepped in to count a fast three-pin, handing Austin the WWF Championship. When a furious Michaels confronted him after the bell, Tyson leveled him with his iconic right hook, creating one of the most replayed highlights in WrestleMania history.

WWE has seen incredible WrestleMania moments from the celebrities listed above; a potential storyline with Tom Brady feels a bit more personal. After dismissively calling the business “cute” and trading barbs with Logan Paul, it’s clear Brady won’t be greeted with smiles from everyone, much like his polarizing 23-year career with the Patriots and Buccaneers. Ultimately, if Brady makes an appearance, it will only further prove that WrestleMania remains the ultimate destination for icons looking to leave a lasting mark.
