CM Punk Roman Reigns WrestleMania 42 match graphic. The two come face to face on WWE Raw tonight for WWE Raw results

CM Punk Doubles Down on Verbal Assault to Roman Reigns: “Sika Sees What a Manipulative, Gaslighting, Narcissitic, Plastic Politician His Son Is”

Last week, CM Punk shocked many when he promised to bury Roman Reigns in the ground right beside his father, the departed Sika. This week, Punk doubled down on those comments as he addressed the Usos and discussed his history with the Anoai’i family.

CM Punk Attacks ‘No-Show’ Roman Reigns

CM Punk is building a world title match, and most weeks, he’s been asked to build that himself as Roman Reigns’ part-time schedule has made his appearances on the Road to WrestleMania less than weekly. Reigns made his return to Raw last week to confront Punk, marking the first time he was present since issuing the challenge to Punk after the Royal Rumble. That was a month in between appearances, and Punk wasted no time calling out Reigns on his shortened schedule.

That was the theme again this week as Punk noted the title around his waist only exists because Reigns shunned his championship responsibilities, often refusing to defend his titles. Punk, however, prides himself on being a fighting champion. When he defends the title, he levels it up and levels up the competitors around him. When he defends the title, he gives the best and gets the best out of his opponents in return. Punk said when you get in the ring with him, you have to be physically and mentally prepared, or else he’ll leave you dumbfounded like he did Reigns last week. But Punk acknowledged last week he lowered himself to Reigns’ level, a comment that brought out the Uso, who earlier in the night teased confronting the champ over his comments toward Sika.

Jey Uso demanded an apology, but Punk wondered why Reigns was still using his cousins to handle his business. Jimmy Uso held a charging Jey back as he said this wasn’t about Reigns. They came out there because they respect Punk, and they needed him to know that last week, he went too far disrespecting their uncle. Punk calls himself the Voice of the Voiceless, but last week, he attacked someone who doesn’t have a voice anymore. Jimmy said that’s why they wanted an apology.

Punk Calls Reigns a “Manipulative, Gaslighting, Narcissistic Plastic Politician”

Punk considered Jimmy’s words and admitted the Usos were right. He knows them to be spiritual and that they believe Sika can hear them. So he hopes, because the Usos are his friends and he goes way back with their family, that Sika hears what he has to say. Reigns didn’t know Sika too well, but he knew his brother Afa because he worked for him in Allentown, Pennsylvania, early on in his career. Punk said Afa kept him fed, but the real benefit was being paid in knowledge. He learned from the great Samu, and he respects everyone in the Anoai’i family, as they’ve respected him. Well, all but one of them has. That’s when Punk said if Sika heard that and saw that, he knows what the man sees when he looks at his son, a “manipulative, gaslighting, narcissistic, plastic politician.”

Jey said Punk wasn’t getting it. This wasn’t about Reigns. He needs to apologize to them. Punk relents, grabbing both Jey and Jimmy’s hands. He tells the brothers he’s sorry…sorry that Reigns treated them like trash and never apologized, sorry Reigns disrespected one of his mentors, the late Dusty Rhodes, and never apologized. Punk said he’s sorry Reigns has fooled the Usos yet again into believing he cares about them or the business. If he did, he’d be standing in the ring, not sending his young boys. The three get into it before Jimmy pulls Jey away, leaving Punk in the ring.

Your move, Roman Reigns. Fortunately, fans don’t have to wait too long as Reigns is advertised for next week’s Raw.
