Shocking Title Change at TNA No Surrender

Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo may have lost the TNA International Champion, but his fiancée did better. Arianna Grace became the new TNA Knockouts World Champion by defeating Léi Ying Lee at TNA No Surrender. Last night, on Thursday Night iMPACT, she stole her father’s secret weapon, the Cobra. She becomes the fifth NXT talent to hold a TNA title.

The match started with Léi Ying Lee kicking Arianna Grace out of the ring. Léi Ying Lee connected with a dropkick and landed multiple punches. Dani Luna distracts Léi Ying Lee, giving Grace the chance to build an advantage. Grace connected with a Neckbreaker and drove Léi Ying Lee face-first into the apron.

Outside the ring, Arianna Grace sent Léi Ying Lee face-first into the steel post and comboed with a Suplex. Léi Ying Lee connected a Neckbreaker Backslide pin attempt, but Grace launches herself into Léi Ying Lee with a Corkscrew Uppercut. Lee created some space and rained down ten Hammerfists onto Grace in the corner. Continuing her momentum, she slammed Grace down with a Suplex.

Cobra power

Grace gained some momentum of her own and connected with a Twisting Neckbreaker for a pin count of two. She went to the top turnbuckle, but Léi Ying Lee is there to meet her. Lee absorbed a Headbutt and connected with a German Suplex. Arianna Grace was put up on the top rope, and both contenders traded blows. Léi Ying Lee dropped Grace from the top rope with a Superplex. Both fighters were down.

Léi Ying Lee hoisted her up onto her shoulders to set up for the Warriors Way, but Grace got her fingers into her eye outside of the ref’s view. She flattens Stacked outside of the ring. As Lee tried to get back into the ring, Arianna Grace landed the Cobra and dropped Lee with a Facebuster straight onto her knee.
