Joe Hendry kicks off NXT

Booker T massacred the new NXT Champion (I still can’t believe it…) theme. I may not believe in Joe Hendry, but my ears didn’t appreciate it. Hendry thanked the crowd for believing. He confessed he had a moment of doubt in the Ladder match because of Ricky Saints. Because the crowd chanted, “We believe,” he overcame his fear and made Ricky Saints fall, to become the NXT Champion.

This is another step in his wrestling career. It’s just getting started, as he will bring NXT to new heights. Here came the Vanity Project. They decided to finish the job as Ethan Page advises them to. Jackson Drake wants the NXT Championship. Hendry will defend tonight against him. A brawl erupted, and Drake had the last word.

It’s not over between Blake Monroe and Jaida Parker

The highly anticipated bout between Jaida Parker and Blake Monroe was a stalemate as neither Superstar could answer the official’s ten count. The match began with an incredible pace as neither Superstar could wait to get their hands on each other, with Parker’s power clashing with Monroe’s in-ring savvy.

The Glamour went out of her way to mock her opponent, and it backfired, leading to Parker getting slammed into the steel ring steps. However, neither Superstar realized that the referee was counting. It led to a double count-out, kicking off a huge brawl on the outside and an incidental Hipnotic to an official. Meanwhile, Monroe was in the crowd.
