Oba Femi Makes His Main Roster Debut at the WWE Royal Rumble 2026

Oba Femi made his main roster when he entered the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble match. During Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, a brief vignette played. The promo video highlighted Femi’s many accomplishments, including various big wins in NXT. At the end, his name appeared, before the Royal Rumble logo did as well. The confirmation revealed that Femi was Royal Rumble-bound, and he’d no doubt be a big favorite to win the coveted contest.

At NXT New Year’s Evil, despite retaining the NXT Championship against TNA X-Division Champion, Leon Slater, Femi left the Championship belt in the middle of the ring, leaving NXT and vacating the title. The move, in addition to the multiple vignettes aired on WWE shows, immediately fueled rumours he could be called up to the WWE main roster.

What happened to Oba Femi at the WWE Royal Rumble?

Oba Femi made a thunderous entrance as the number 1. He eliminated Bron Breakker, Rusev, Solo Sikoa, Rey Mysterio, and Matt Cardona. After 49 minutes in the match, The Ruler was eliminated by Brock Lesnar.

This WWE Royal Rumble participation represents a huge main roster debut for Oba Femi. It is unknown if Femi will be a part of the Raw or SmackDown roster. For sure, he will soon become a dangerous contender for any championship.
