WrestleMania Season Begins
The Road to WrestleMania begins at the Royal Rumble. When the January PLE first started, it was just another bump in the road, but it has evolved into the start of something special for WWE. It’s the beginning of their sweeps season, of sorts—the beginning of the best 4 months of the year for fans of World Wrestling Entertainment.
A lot of how the WrestleMania card pans out is determined at the Royal Rumble. The winners punch their ticket to the main event, of course, but during the match, we see some showdowns that are precursors to big attraction matches at the Showcase of the Immortals. World Championship matches take place, showing us who will be taking their straps into ‘Mania’s main events. WrestleMania becomes clear after the Royal Rumble, and we all need to watch so we don’t fall behind.
