Is This Going To Be A.J. Styles’ Final Match?
We know that A.J. Styles has been getting long in the tooth. He has even gone on record that 2026 will be his last in the wrestling world, but as to when that final match will take place, we don’t know. There is a strong possibility that it may take place in Saudi Arabia.
Gunther has made his name by retiring legends. Goldberg and John Cena have already fallen at the hands of the Ring General, and Styles is now in the crosshairs. Gunther has demanded that Styles put his career on the line at the Royal Rumble, and when he agreed, the world was on the edge of its seat, wondering if this would be Styles’ last hurrah.
2026 has just started, and there’s no chance that WWE will rip our hearts out already, right? There are so many last matches that we want to see, but there’s a good chance that this will be the end. It’s mind-boggling to think that A.J. Styles retirement run will be over before it begins, but that’s the reality we could be facing on Saturday.
