TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (01/29/26) – The Fallout from the Fallout

TNA Genesis 2026 is now behind us; it’s time to take the path to TNA Rebellion. Until April, TNA Wrestling announced two PLEs. TNA No Surrender will take place on February 13, and TNA Sacrifice on March 27. Last week’s episode was quite chaotic. The System excommunicated Moose and betrayed JDC as he announced Bear Bronson was replacing him.

Also, Ash by Elegance shocked the world when she joined the Comeback Club. Yes, she’s back. Last night on NXT, The Elegance Brand had a message for their challengers, ZaRuca. The TNA Knockouts World Tag Team title match will take place on February 3 on NXT.

Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT may be a WWE show; taking a look at what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps on being bigger and bigger. Let’s Nygma-dive into it.

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (01/29/26) – The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

The fallout from last week’s chaos sends shockwaves through TNA. A No Holds Barred war headlines the night as AJ Francis collides with Rich Swann in a match with no rules, no mercy, and no turning back.

We will also witness the long-awaited Feast or Fired reveal. Discover who secures coveted title opportunities… and who walks away with the dreaded pink slip. Elsewhere, Elayna Black steps into the ring, determined to climb the Knockouts Division.

Elijah goes one-on-one with Jason Hotch, with Order 4 looming at ringside. TNA International Champion Stacks (with Arianna Grace) faces The Home Town Man in singles action.

Nic Nemeth battles explosive newcomer BDE, as the young influencer looks to prove he belongs. And for the first time since their shocking actions last week, The System finally breaks its silence.

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (01/29/26) – The Nygma’s View

With four matches and two segments, this episode is very special. TNA Wrestling seemed not to have a lot to say. As you know, Nygma always has a lot to say.

The System 2.0 kicks off the episode. I have to say “version 2.0,” as Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers welcomed Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander. They also kicked JDC and Moose out of the faction. As we saw last week, Alisha Edwards was not very happy with this change. Nygma says, the big question for me is: will Alisha Edwards turn against or stand by Moose’s side?

Elijah faces Jason Hotch. Before Elijah has another match against Ali, and a stipulation one, please, The Drifter will probably have to face all Order 4. Probably one after another, but for sure all of them every time. Nygma says, Elijah may face Hotch, Skylar, or Special Agent 0; he faces them all, and Ali wins. A Monsters’ Ball, with horses and guitars,  would be welcomed.

Nic Nemeth faces the newly signed BDE. Nemeth has Mike Santana in his line of fire, thanks to the Call Your Shot cup. May he win or not, with or without his brother Ryan’s help, he will probably attack BDE after the match to make sure that Santana makes the save. Nygma says, in a “Zip” world, unzipping good ideas is complicated. Look at Ryan Nemeth…

Who will be fired?

The briefcases will be opened. Who won a World Title contract, an X-Division Championship one, or an International Championship bout? And who will be fired? Eddie Edwards, Trey Miguel, Steve Maclin, and Eric Young may have won some gold, but they may also have won some pink. Nygma says, Whoever is fired, that won’t make me happy at all.

Elayna Black will be in action. As I said last week, let me see her compete on the Impact Zone first. I watched Cora Jade on NXT, but I’ve never seen Elayna Black in action. Nygma says, I am from the school of Saint Thomas. I prefer, when it comes to these things, to see before believing.

Rich Swann faces AJ Francis in a Holds Barred match. After his loss at TNA Genesis at the hands of a Dirty Francis, Swann has a revenge to take on his former ally. The former X-Division and World Champion knows how to be a bad guy when it’s necessary. He has proved it many times in TNA. Nygma says, when it comes to toys, Swann has as good a record as Bob the Builder.

I’ll see you on Friday with all the results and the review. As I have already said many times, 2026 will be a loaded year for TNA Wrestling. Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC era is nothing but Nygma. How else could it be? Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
