Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky didn’t have much time to bask in the glow of their victory, as the new champs will make their first title defense less than one month after winning the belts.
Rhiyo Defends the Titles against the Judgment Day
Rhiyo opened up WWE Raw in Düsseldorf to celebrate winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the 1/5 edition of the flagship show. However, before the fan favorites were able to take a victory lap, they were interrupted by Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and the Kabuki Warriors, all of whom wanted next. Rhiyo told their challengers to bring it on, and later in the show, a triple threat match took place to determine the #1 contenders.

In just her second match back, Morgan recorded her second victory in as many weeks, as she and Perez won in their official tag team debut. The two utilized their cunning tactics and took advantage of the triple-threat format to advance and set up a meeting with the champs.
Morgan and Perez get their title shot at the first Saturday Night’s Main Event of the year, which takes place on January 24, live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
