1. AJ Lee
You knew this was coming. By far, the greatest WWE Divas Champion is AJ Lee. Lee held the title for an impressive 295 days and was a fan favorite. Her three reigns were far from perfect, but light-years better than the usual treatment of the Divas Champions at the time. Lee’s charisma, in-ring talent, and determination did wonders for the title, and it finally started to pick up some much-needed prestige.
One of the most memorable moments of her time as champion came in the form of her feud against Kaitlyn. The feud was deeply personal and was impressive in the ring. A thing that was rare at the time. The feud went as far back as NXT Season 3, back when it was a game show, and built off of the friendship they had formed there.
It all finally exploded and came to a head over the Divas Championship. A long-forgotten feud, I would highly recommend everyone to take a trip back and rewatch it.
