The Nygma’s View & Predictions

With ten matches announced, the TNA Final Resolution 2025 card is a very special one. It’s a kind of second round after NXT Showdown. Every Championship is on the line, but two of them could fall into some NXT’s arms. I’m extremely bad at the prediction game, so if I was totally wrong, don’t be too surprised…

Non-Title Matches

For months, Eric Young has been spreading the message: The Cleanse is coming. But one person who will not be intimidated by this ominous warning is Cedric Alexander, as the two step into the ring for an exclusive singles showdown.

Nygma says: Eric Young is a Nutcracker master. I may be a big Cedric Alexander fan, but don’t ask a monkey how to smile (French way to say, learn a dog some tricks).

After competing in The Last Time is Now Tournament on WWE SmackDown, Matt Cardona returned to the iMPACT! Zone for a match against the unhinged Mance Warner. Steph De Lander distracted the referee, allowing Warner to use a weapon to steal the victory. Later in the night, a vengeful Cardona would lay out the challenge for a match with no disqualifications and no countouts. We can now confirm that at Final Resolution, Matt Cardona and Mance Warner will collide in a Street Fight.

Nygma says: As long as toys are involved, I will adore this match, whoever wins it.

The Rascalz are at full strength after reuniting with Dezmond Xavier to defeat The System at Turning Point. But less than one week later on iMPACT!, Myron Reed found himself falling victim to the numbers game played by another one of TNA’s top factions, Order 4. Revenge is in the air at Final Resolution as Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, and Myron Reed battle Mustafa Ali, The Great Hands, and Special Agent 0 in a clash for supremacy.

Nygma says: My heart says The Rascalz, but reason makes me say Order 4. I love my Treehouse buddies, but Special Agent O is a weapon of mass destruction.

NXT vs TNA Matches

NXT Superstars Robert Stone, Charlie Dempsey, Lexis King, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Brooks Jensen, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe made a bold statement when they brutally assaulted TNA Wrestlers at TNA iMPACT! LIVE and Turning Point. But instead of trying to keep them out, TNA Wrestling is opening the doors in a series of high-stakes matchups for brand supremacy.

The Hardys vs. Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe for the TNA World Tag Team Championship, Steve Maclin vs. Stacks for the TNA International Championship, and Mike Santana vs. Charlie Dempsey. Everyone is out for revenge, especially Santana, after an arm injury at the hands of the NXT outsiders played a role in him losing the TNA World Title to Frankie Kazarian.

Nygma says: I would hate to see the Hardys lose the title to High Ryze. Stacks is a very dirty player, but Steve Maclin is one hell of a Champion. When it comes to Mike Santana, I believe in Boricua, so I obviously give him the point. Then, his anger could lead to a DQ if he goes too far and punishes Charlie Dempsey.

Knockouts Championship Matches

History was made at NXT Gold Rush Week Two when Léi Ying Lee defeated Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace to become the new TNA Knockouts World Champion, the first Chinese champion in TNA Wrestling history. Meanwhile, eight Knockouts contenders waged war in two 4-Way matches on iMPACT. Xia Brookside emerged victorious. She will face her Angel Warriors team partner.

Nygma says: The match will be full of emotions. Don’t expect a heel turn or a DQ because Lee and Brookside adore each other. Also, don’t expect Léi Ying Lee to lose. Unless someone from NXT comes to create some trouble…

The TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles are on the line when The IInspiration defend against Tessa Blanchard and Victoria Crawford. Just a few weeks ago at Turning Point, The IInspiration successfully retained against two teams: Blanchard and Crawford, and The Angel Warriors. However, it was neither Blanchard nor Crawford who took the fall in that match. Now they will get another shot in this traditional tag team contest.

Nygma says: Honestly, I don’t give a damn. Both teams are cheating-prone.

TNA Championship Matches

At Turning Point, Leon Slater successfully retained the TNA X-Division Championship against Rich Swann in a breathtaking match born out of the altercation between BDE and First Class. Much to the dismay of AJ Francis, Swann would hug Slater in a tremendous sign of sportsmanship. Now, AJ Francis will have an opportunity to bring the X-Division Title to First Class when he challenges Slater at Final Resolution.

Nygma says: Rich Swann could cost AJ Francis the match, but Leon Slater retains, of course.

After calling his shot to become the new TNA World Champion dramatically, Frankie Kazarian will make his first title defense at Final Resolution. Stepping up to the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” will be a fan-favorite member of The System, JDC. At Turning Point, JDC made the emotional announcement that he will be retiring from in-ring competition this January at Genesis.

While JDC is an accomplished pro wrestling veteran, there is one milestone left for him to accomplish: becoming the TNA World Champion. And after JDC defeated Eric Young on iMPACT!, he was granted that opportunity by Director of Authority Santino Marella.

Nygma says: Yes, I love when JDC shakes his butt, but no, he won’t become Champion. Frankie Kazarian finally has what he has wanted all his career. He won’t let it go this way. JDC may win the bout if there’s a DQ.

I let you come to me with your Final Resolution predictions. Opinions are meant to be shared and compared. I’ll see you very soon. Be sure I’ll be watching the event on Saturday, my hand wrapped in a bandage. Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
