Cena was in no fit state in his attempt to retain the WWE Championship.
Batista was fresh, seizing the opportunity presented. The Animal decimated Cena with ease, and he executed a jaw-dropping Batista Bomb to become a six-time WWE world champion. Cena’s shortest championship reign in his WWE career lasted just three minutes and 34 seconds.
