2. Becky Lynch Vs. Lyra Valkyria – SummerSlam 2025 Night Two
There was tons of pressure on Lyra Valkyria’s shoulders at SummerSlam 2025, as it was the final chance to challenge for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship as long as Lynch is the titleholder. Their bout was contested under No Disqualification and No Countout rules. Lynch’s iconic “Celtic Invasion” was no more as she debuted a new theme song, “New Lows” by The Wonder Years.
Unsurprisingly, Lynch and Valkyria had a solid match, but 25 minutes wasn’t necessary. Lynch pulled out all of the stops by tying Valkyria’s hands together with a ziptie. A slew of weapons were involved, with both women desperate to hold the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Bayley’s involvement was inevitable, and she fought with Lynch on the outside.
The Role Model was on the apron, and she looked poised to nail Lynch, but she nailed Valkyria instead with a chain. The Man, being an opportunist, seized the opportunity presented to her, executing the Manhandle Slam on Valkyria to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
1. Becky Lynch Vs. Bayley Vs. Lyra Valkyria – Evolution 2025
Becky Lynch’s toughest test as the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion was at Evolution 2. She defended the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria in an entertaining triple threat match in the curtain-raiser. Their match was worthy of headlining the show; that’s how good their bout was.
The first-ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Valkyria looked right at home mixing it up with two veterans. All three had their working boots on in a memorable Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Bayley executed the Bayley-to-Belly on Lynch, but Valkyria broke up the fall.

Nevertheless, Bayley connected with her patented Rose Plant on Valkyria, but Lynch broke it up, and she covered Bayley in a successful WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship title defense.
