Becky Lynch is one of the all-time greats, having become a WWE Grand Slam Champion, and her accolades speak for themselves. Lynch cemented her legacy further as she defeated her Irish compatriot Lyra Valkyria for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank 2025.
Valkyria did an admirable job as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, but someone of Lynch’s stature elevated the title instantly. The Man’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship reign was brilliant, and she held the title for 163 days.
Lynch is an excellent heel, and Lynch defended her title against some familiar foes and new rivals. She added relevancy to the Women’s Intercontinental Championship with consistent title defenses on Raw and on PLEs.
Not all of Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship matches were great, but the majority were superb contests. Beating Lynch for a championship is a big deal, with her title reign coming to a crashing halt on Raw’s November 17, 2025, edition emanating from Madison Square Garden.
8. Becky Lynch Vs. Maxxine Dupri – Raw (8/11/25)

Becky Lynch defended the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri on Raw’s August 11, 2025, episode. This title match was huge in Dupri’s development. Unfortunately, Dupri was clearly not ready for a match of this magnitude. Nevertheless, the crowd was split with chants of “Let’s go Becky” and “Let’s go Maxxine.” Becky trash-talked throughout, but Dupri surprisingly had a lot of offense.
Natalya and Akira Tozawa were in Dupri’s corner for support. Dupri countered the Manhandle Slam with a makeshift Stunner. Furthermore, Dupri incorporated the Ankle Lock, but Lynch fought her way out of it. Inevitably, Lynch retained the Women’s Intercontinental Championship with her patented Disarm-her.
