Finding a new TV deal for TNA Wrestling has been Carlos Silva’s mission since he took the helm of the company. Ahead of TNA Slammiversary 2025, Silva indicated that Anthem Sports Group and CAA were evaluating a potential TNA media rights deal to be approximately worth $10 million annually.
He later stated that TNA Bound For Glory would be “a great stake in the sand in terms of us getting everything together as we look to the 2026 year and season.”
Yesterday, more news emerged. TNA’s media rights future has been a major talking point in the wrestling industry over the past six months, and details on a potential timeline for a deal and suitors for the promotion have emerged. According to the TakeDown on SI, neither The CW nor A&E would be the new TV host of TNA iMPACT. There is an expectation that TNA will announce a new media rights deal by the end of 2025, if not sooner, and with AMC.
This Summer, a potential move to a WWE-friendly network or going head-to-head with AEW programming was on the table. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer noted back in August that A&E and The CW were among the interested parties in TNA’s media rights, both of which have WWE affiliation. Now, AMC seems to be the new potential landing spot.
The AMC Allure
AMC may have never aired pro-wrestling programming before, but they were rumored in 2014 to try to acquire WWE and merge it into their network (rumours have since been proved unfounded). Wrestlenomics estimated in 2023 that AXS TV was available in more than 30 million homes in the United States.
Last year’s industry estimates for AMC put it at approximately double that. A deal with AMC would present a substantial increase in potential eyes for the TNA product.

It is not known at this time whether a potential deal with AMC (or any other interested partner) would include changing nights or if the company would continue to broadcast its signature program on Thursday nights. When it comes to TNA+, as it’s the only way for the company to reach the wrestling fans worldwide, its future should not be a question, as it also hosts the company’s live PLEs.
Currently, TNA’s programming airs on AXS TV in the US and Sportsnet in Canada. The world can watch TNA’s programming via the TNA+ app. Anthem Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of the promotion, owns AXS TV.
