TNA iMPACT Results (11/6/25) – The Good Old Open Fight Night

As announced last week, this week’s TNA iMPACT episode is another unusual one. A week before TNA Turning Point, for the first time since February 2017, “Open Fight Night” returns. “The road to Turning Point continues as Open Fight Night makes its highly anticipated return for the first time since 2017,” says TNA Wrestling. “Anyone can make a challenge, and everyone must accept! When the opportunities are endless, what chaos will unfold?”

The iMPACT preview was clear, will it be unaired taped episodes or something else? Since the preview, a few things have been announced: an exclusive sitdown with TNA Knockouts World Champion, Kelani Jordan, and a 4-team match. Brian Myers issued the challenge, and, of course, the 3 other teams accepted. Let’s Nygma-dive into the TNA iMPACT results, as there are some things to say about it (as always).

The Nygma’s View

Brian Myers’s Challenge

After some welcome words from the TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, we learnt that Brian Myers took to social media earlier this week to issue the first challenge: The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers), Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus and Travis Williams), The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz), and The Great Hands (Jason Hotch and John Skyler) colliding in a four-way tag team showdown.

Miguel and Wentz soared over the top rope, taking out their opponents on the outside. Hotch distracted the referee, allowing Skyler to attack Myers on the floor. Moments later, Order 4 remained in control when Tasha Steelz got involved. The pace quickened when Edwards brought the fight to Skyler. Myers hit Skyler with the Roster Cut, followed by a Boston Knee Party from Edwards to win.

Nygma says: Challenge won by The System (in a match taped late September in Edmonton) and a terrific bout to start the show. The Hardys noticed it, so a Championship match in the making?

Jody Threat’s Challenge

The Wild Child laid out the challenge to her former friend and Spitfire tag team partner, Dani Luna. As unhinged as she may currently be, Luna was focused, which led to another good and stiff match. Threat locked in a rear-naked choke, but Luna made it to the bottom rope. Luna launched her off the ropes with a German suplex, followed by the Luna Landing to score the victory. Nygma says: Jody Threat lost the challenge, but it looks like the war is not over between the former Spitfire partners (another match taped in Edmonton).

The Colons’ Challenge

Earlier this year, in El Paso, The Colons challenged The Hardys to an El Paso Street Fight. Eddie Colon choked Jeff with a steel chain while Orlando assaulted Matt with a chair. Both teams brawled around the ringside area and into the crowd. Matt hit Orlando with the Twist of Fate before Jeff sent him crashing through a table with the Swanton Bomb for the win.

Nygma says: I will never be against a match with the Hardys, but this match took place eight months ago (taped on March 15). The Colons left TNA. The Hardys are Champions again. It’s not because TNA Wrestling is coming back to El Paso soon that they needed to unload this old match.

The Search for Mr. Elegance’s Challenge

“Are you strong and long? Lean and a fighting machine? Do you have panache, moxie, and pizzazz? Then you could be Mr. Elegance.” The Elegance Brand is in search of Mr. Elegance, who will be awarded a one-year contract with TNA Wrestling. If you think you have what it takes, send a video to [email protected]. The search for Mr. Elegance began in Edmonton, Alberta, but The Elegance Brand was not impressed with the level of talent. Nygma says: So funny… Bring back Johnny Swinger and his Dungeon.

From The Vault – AJ Styles’ Challenge

AJ Styles challenged Bobby Roode for the TNA World Championship on a classic Open Fight Night from 2012. This one was taped on May 15, 2012, in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Kelani Jordan’s Challenge(s)

A new side of Kelani Jordan has been unleashed, and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to remain the TNA Knockouts World Champion. With her upcoming title defense against both Léi Ying Lee and Jordynne Grace looming at NXT Gold Rush, Jordan sat down for an exclusive interview.

Jordan explained her recent actions, stating that when she won the NXT Women’s North American Title, she was inexperienced and felt the need to people-please. Now, as the TNA Knockouts World Champion, she doesn’t need to prove herself to anyone. After all, doing things the right way got her kicked out of the NXT locker room.

Cedric Alexander’s Challenge

Alexander wasted no time in using Open Fight Night as his opportunity to be the first man to test the new TNA World Champion (as taped in Edmonton, Santana wasn’t the Champion yet). Alexander hit a Michinoku Driver for two. Santana goes for the Rolling Buck 50, but Alexander countered with a German suplex, followed by a Fisherman’s Buster.

Santana fought off the Lumbar Check, then hit the Rolling Buck 50 for a near fall of his own. The action was back and forth as both men countered each other’s offense. Santana hit one final Spin the Block to pick up the hard-fought victory. Nygma says: It was taped, Santana wasn’t Champion yet, but that’s what I call a main-event match.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

Yes, it was the unaired ones from Edmonton, except for the Colons and the 2012 bouts. The Edmonton-taped matches were so damn good. Kelani Jordan finally showed her true colors. It’s not a surprise, as the Championship gold can make someone giddy. The search for Mr. Elegance is already laughable, so expect the worst of Nygma about this in the coming weeks.

That’s all for the TNA iMPACT results of the week. The name “After The Bell” may have disappeared, but the Nygma spirit of the pieces will never disappear. If you want a dishonestly honest Nygma point of view, you’ll always find it here.

After an epic Bound For Glory, it was nice to write differently. Four weeks later, it was also time to get back to Nygma mode. Next week, TNA iMPACT is finally back and live from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. I can already tell you that Jason Hotch vs Cedric Alexander and Elijah’s return, with a concert, will be on the menu. Stay tuned as I interviewed Jody Threat yesterday. Till next week, for TNA iMPACT and TNA Turning Point, may the Nygma be with you.
