WWE SmackDown Preview (10/31/25) – Halloween Night

On the spookiest night of the year, WWE looks to scare the WWE Universe regarding the amount of heart-pumping action they can churn out by the end of the evening. So, prepare yourselves, it’s Halloween night and expect a few tricks and treats! Without further ado, here’s a WWE SmackDown preview for October 31, 2025. Let’s run it down.

The Fight Goes On

The brand new United States Champion Ilja Dragunov made it crystal clear that he intended to continue what Sami Zayn started with the U.S. Open challenge, welcoming all comers to the field to try and pry away the U.S Title from his grasp. After an excellent title win the prior week, Dragunov got straight to business on last week’s WWE SmackDown, and a more dangerous Aleister Black met him.

Ilja had more than he bargained for this week. But despite Black coming in seconds from becoming United States Champion, due to interference from Zelina Vega, The “Mad Dragon” managed to eek by and remain U.S. Champ. This Friday, Dragunov continues the challenge and awaits his opponent.

Dragunov, much like Sami Zayn and John Cena, will be putting himself on the back foot due to the nature of the U.S. Open Challenge. That said, it doesn’t matter as the former NXT U.K. Champion wants all the heat.

Who will step up to the plate this Friday?

David vs. Goliath

Nia Jax reignited her rivalry with her old tag partner, Alexa Bliss, on the latest edition of SmackDown, trying to drive a wedge between Bliss and her current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion partner, Charlotte Flair. Jax firmly believes that it’s just a matter of time till the champions turn on one another.

Why? To be fair to Jax, she was on the receiving end of multiple backstabbings, one of which involved Alexa Bliss. Nia looks to prove that Bliss is still a traitor, even if she has to beat it in her.

Will Nia Jax prove that she’s right? Or will Alexa Bliss silence all the doubters?

Find out this Friday Halloween night, as it all unfolds on The USA Network and Netflix!
