Five Reasons Why You Should be Watching WWE Clash In Paris

For the second consecutive year, we will have the pleasure of seeing WWE produce another show in France, this time with WWE Clash in Paris. Last year, WWE put on a fabulous show in Lyon, complete with a raucous crowd and phenomenal matches. This time around, they are looking to outdo themselves with a card that would rival any WrestleMania.

WWE has put together an all-star lineup for their Clash in Paris. From top to bottom, there isn’t a weak match on the card, and it will prove to be one of the best nights of the WWE year. There is so much intrigue in the night. It’s hard to start with the great reasons to watch this show, but let’s take our shot below.

A Paris Crowd That Could Prove Historic

When WWE last took its show to France, the Lyon crowd was rabid. They had been waiting decades for PLE to come to their city, and their response was deafening. The Lyon audience sang every entrance they could and were louder than most any other crowd had been before.

We can all remember the awesome sight of the camera shaking as the crowd serenaded A.J. Styles. Lyon raised the bar for every other PLE that followed it, and this Sunday could raise it again.

When WWE Clash in Paris hits our television screens, we will see yet another crowd that will make history. If they are even half as raucous as the Lyon audience, we are in for a treat. A great crowd can elevate any show, and this French crowd could make Sunday an all-time event.

A Good Old-Fashioned Donnybrook

Sheamus and Rusev have been having themselves one heck of a physical feud. They are both known for their stiff working style, and that has been on full display in their contests. Both men have exhibited a brutal style, and it’s more of a war of attrition when these two men step into the ring.

Both men have put on bangers so far, and the Donnybrook gimmick gives them more room to work. Essentially, it’s a No-DQ match, which is right up the alley of both men.

Their issues have spilled outside the ring on many occasions, and this gimmick gives them free rein to do whatever they please. It is going to make for a very entertaining affair and a sneaky contest for the match of the night.

Two Matches That Play The Veteran Against The Young Star

John Cena taking on Logan Paul and Roman Reigns facing Bronson Reed are going to provide two matches with similar vibes. Matches that are going to showcase a young star looking to make a name for themselves by upending the veteran.

Both programs have been great parts of their respective shows, and both matches are up in the air as to who will win. Smart money goes with Reigns and Cena, but who is to say if Triple H won’t pull the rug out?

While similar, both matches should play out differently. Reed and Reigns will be a battle of the power moves, while Cena and Paul will rely on big spots to carry the contest. Either way, both matches will be a lot of fun and should provide for some great surprises.

Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella Will Surprise Us All

Becky Lynch defending her Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella is going to surprise a lot of fans. So far, they have been crushing it on the microphone, trading vicious barbs. It has been great fun witnessing these two create, and once in the ring, we will see something special.

Nikki Bella is a better wrestler than most give her credit for. She isn’t going to be on classics, but she understands how to work a match. She has the talent to work with anyone, and she is working with one of the best.

Becky Lynch doesn’t have bad matches, and there is no chance this one will be. Some will think of this as the bathroom break match, but all should be glued to their screen.

A World Championship Match With A Twist?

The fatal-four-way match scheduled for Sunday has four of the best workers in the company. CM Punk, Jey Uso, L.A. Knight, and Seth Rollins are money when they enter the ring. Their matches leading up to this showdown have been great, and there is no reason to think that they won’t carry this momentum into Paris.

They should be given the time to work through a fun match, and one that should contain a shenanigan or two.

What makes this match even more intriguing, though, is the possibility that a title change could happen. There are so many variables to consider when thinking about a finish to this match. Sure, common sense would put Rollins retaining the strap, but who knows what Triple H will do.

He may want to add some more importance to these trips across the Atlantic, and what better way than to have a shock title change. Plus, Knight and Punk can put some genuine claims to being the best choice for World Champion. With so many questions, it’s hard not to want to watch this match.
